Benjamin Allen Enbody

August 16, 1978 - February 15, 2020

Benjamin Allen Enbody aged 41 of Wyoming, formerly of Jackson and Lansing went home to be with his Savior on Saturday, February 15, 2020. Ben was born on August 16, 1978 in Jackson, the son of Allen and Mona (Marowelli) Enbody and graduated from Jackson Northwest High School. After high school, Ben attended Ferris State University, graduating with a degree as a HVAC Mechanical Technician. He worked as a Technician for A-1 Mechanical and Johnstone Supply Company in Lansing before moving to Grand Rapids where he worked for Pleune Service Company in Grand Rapids and Mall City Mechanical in Kalamazoo. Most recently, Ben returned to employment with Johnstone Supply Company at their Grand Rapids office. Ben was a very motivated employee who loved his field of work. On the rare occasion he wasn't working, he enjoyed hanging with his friends and family, or perusing through a good comic book, usually Batman. On April 14, 2017 he married Tracy Ann VanderSloot and they have enjoyed every minute by each other's side. Along with his wife Tracy, Ben will be greatly missed by his daughter Anna Francis, his parents Allen and Mona Enbody of Jackson; his sister Kelly (Jeremy) Lutz of Jackson and their children Zachary, Addison, and Jazzlyn; his father & mother-in-law Jack & Beverly VanderSloot of Wyoming; sister-in-law Angela VanderSloot; and grandparents Arden & Nancy Marowelli of Addison, and Gordon "Jack" VanderSloot of Kentwood; along with numerous friends. A Celebration of Ben's life will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, February 20 at Ada Bible Church - Kentwood Campus with Rev. Michael Caley officiating. Burial will follow at Georgetown Cemetery in Hudsonville. Friends may meet with his family on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Stroo Funeral Home in Cutlerville, and on Thursday morning from 10:00 am until time of service at the church. Those who wish to remember Ben with a memorial donation may make it to a charity of their choice
