Marilyn Louise Moreschini aged 82 of Dublin, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2015 at her home. Marilyn was born on August 24, 1932 in Muskegon, the daughter of Paul and Salomae (Zechlinski) Betka, and graduated from St. Mary’s High School in Muskegon with the class of 1951. She married the love of her life, Richard Moreschini in June 1970 at Sacred Heart Church in Muskegon, and over the last couple of years, Richard has cared for her every need unselfishly. Marilyn was very proud of her Polish heritage and had a personality that would light up a room. She was known for her funny, lighthearted sense of humor, and with her outgoing personality made friends wherever she went. She loved to cook for her family, tend to the flowers in her garden, and with an adventurous spirit, looked forward to taking road trips throughout Michigan and many interesting destinations. She and Richard also enjoyed each other’s company spending winters in Gulf Shores, Alabama the past 12 years. Marilyn loved the holidays and would dress and decorate her home to celebrate each occasion. She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church in Irons and a member of the Altar Society. Marilyn will be greatly missed by her husband of 45 years, Richard; her children Wayne (June) Kamp and Sally (David) Geyer all of Norton Shores, Gregory (Diane) Kamp of Fruitport, and Stephen (Cynthia) Kamp of Spring Lake; 14 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, her sister Delores (William) Myler of Mt. Pleasant; and her sister-in-law Lucille Gedda of Illinois The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Marilyn at 11:00 am on Monday, August 3 at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Irons with Rev. Dennis O’Donnell as celebrant. Burial will follow at Dublin Cemetery. Friends may meet with her family for a time of visitation on Sunday afternoon from 4:00 – 6:00 pm at the Stephens Funeral Home in Scottville, with a prayer service at 5:30 pm.
