I will always remember Mrs. G with fondness. It was always nice to be in the neighborhood and stop to say hello to everyone and it was always great to see her.
I remember one time when a bunch of us spent the weekend at her house, she got the bingo game out and whoever won got to pick a trinket out of her basket of prizes....so much fun.
So many memories.
My heart goes out to all of you!
She was a great lady and will most certainly be missed!
So sorry to hear of Barb's passing. I know the entire family will miss her a great deal. I'm thankful I was able to work with Barb for many years. She taught me so many life lessons. I watched her do her job with skill and professionalism. But more importantly a genuine caring for the kids.She always did whatever she could for the success of the students and MCE. I am forever going to miss seeing your smile when you saw me. I’m going to miss being “scolded” when I said a naughty word. Barb was THE best bowling coach for our son, Nathan who was on the inaugural team at the high school. We’ll never forget his excitement when he came home telling us, “I signed up for the bowling team!” Even better was having Mrs. Genung as his coach. Her patience with those boys was a sight to behold. Many, many fond and fun memories were made. She will always hold a special place in our hearts.
First I have to tell you how sorry I am for your loss. I loved and apreciated her she was always so kind and fun to talk to. She was a great Women.
