Betty J. Clousing's Obituary
Betty J. Clousing (Pleiter) aged 98 of Ludington, passed away on December 31, 2016 at Willowbrook Care Home in Scottville. She was born in the Netherlands, the daughter of Lambert and Jennie (Sinning) Pleiter, and coming to Nova Scotia at age 9 and then Chicago.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore (Ted) S. Clousing. They lived in Chicago, Denver, and Bradenton, Florida. Surviving are her children, James E. (Jim) and Donna Clousing, and Cinthia L. (Cindy) and Edward (Ed) Voss. She was preceded in death by sons Edward J.(Ed) and Marlene Clousing, and Robert (Bob) Clousing. Betty is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She had faith and love for the Lord Jesus Christ, and knew she belonged to Him in life or death.
Betty was a homemaker, active in her church leading women’s Bible studies, and enjoying counted cross-stitch. She was loving and kind to family and friends. For those who wish, memorials may be made out to Covenant Christian School in Ludington. Thanks to Hospice of Michigan and Willowbrook staff for their excellent care.
