Thank you everyone that has shared memories of Mom. It has been a great comfort for our family to read all of the wonderful tributes to her life. She was truly a remarkable woman that was loved by many. The Family of Carol Goff
Our family has some wonderful memories of summer vacations on the Goff's farm. Carol, Charlie, Bradley, and Leah always made us feel at home. I'm grateful to have known Carol and was sorry to hear about her passing.
We just lost another great neighbor. Prayers and thoughts go out to the family. I knew Carol when she was working at the ISD (as it was then), as well as a neighbor. Always so friendly and kind. Debby Saxton.
I first remember Carol when she married my cousin Charles. I remember her as so outgoing and pretty. Then I remember she was friends with my high school principles wife, Phyllis. That too impressed me. But as I grew older and married I was still just as impressed with Carol and her many abilities and knowledge of so many things.
She never changed as we all got older. Always interested in people and events.
The last time I saw Carol and Charles was at a Gallie reunion at Hamlin Lake. She so graciously said how happy she was to be included. We were happy to have her.
Charles was a lucky and blessed man to have woed and wed Carol.
I send my thoughts and prayers to you, Leah and Brad. Kathie remembers being with you Leah, and remarked when she heard about your mom how she wished she could have known you all more.
Your Mom and Dad are with our Lord, and may he continue to bless you and your loved ones and give you Peace.
Lolly (Gallie) DiPiazza
I first met Carol as an employee of Mason-Lake ISD. We were a couple of the “general education” staff where almost everyone else worked in the special education field. What a gracious lady – never a harsh word about anyone. I left the ISD about 1984 and returned to work at Scottville Elementary in about 1991. Carol and Charles had moved into Scottville by that time and over the next years Carol regularly invited me to lunch. While I always felt it was hard to get away from the schools, lunches were always elegant and Carol and Charles the perfect hosts. A wonderful lady who will be missed by many. Dan Petterson
I had the privilege of providing nursing care for Charles prior to his death, he and Carol were very special to me. I loved to sit and listen to their stories of family, travels and military service. Carol was ever the gracious host and never ceased to amaze me with her smile and energy! A wonderful lady who will be sorely missed. Heaven has a beautiful new angel. My condolences to the Goff family, you are in my thoughts and prayers! ~Doris Silver
