Carrie was such a beautiful person inside and out. She cared for my grandmother and showed her such compassion. My grandmother loved her!
Carrie's smile was so contagious and when she was in your presence, you just felt peace. I am sure, that she was a blessing to many people, in her lifetime, because she was such a gem.
She had a great impact on our family and I am blessed to have known her.
Aunt Carrine, always such a beautiful and loving person. She will be missed. Aunt Carrine and Uncle Joe, I don't remember ever seeing one without the other. My deepest condolences, love and prayers go out to all of the family. I will always remember her smile, hugs and when she would always say "bless your heart". See you in paradise Aunt Reenie.
I saw Carrie twice a year when she would come to my house to pay property taxes. She was one of the sweetest people I ever met. Each time we would chat for a bit about our families. It amazed me how from one tax season to the next how she remembered exactly what I had previously shared about my family. If someone had a health problem she remembered who it was and would ask how they were doing. Carrie ALWAYS spoke highly of her children. She was very proud of each of them and that showed by the way her eyes lit up when she spoke of them. I missed my chats with Carrie when she moved to Ohio, but it was nice knowing she was with family. Gods blessings to the family. May you cherish all of the wonderful memories you have.
