DANIEL'S OBITUARY:Daniel “Dan” Obrecht, aged 90, passed away on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 in Clare, Michigan. Daniel was born in Tallman on July 4, 1922. He was married to Wanda on June 5, 1946 and was extremely proud of his 66-year marriage, family, career with Portec Rail and serving his country during WWII as a Seabee in the U.S. Navy.Daniel is survived by his wife, daughter, son, two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.He is preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, brother’s and daughter.Services will be held on Saturday, November 10, at Wyman-Stephens Funeral Home in Scottville, Michigan. Visitation and Service will be from 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow at the Tallman Cemetery in Fountain, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Paralyzed Veterans of America PO BOX 758532, Topeka, KS 66675-8532.
