Darilyn Rose Oliver's Obituary
DEE'S OBITUARY:Darilyn “Dee” Oliver, aged 77 of Lawndale Apartments in Ludington, passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at the home of her granddaughter and caregiver Laura Treml. Dee was born on July 16, 1935 in Duluth, Minnesota, the daughter of Peter and Louise (Mazzuca) Olsen. She was a member of the American Legion Post 76 Auxiliary in Ludington, and loved to play bingo and work on jigsaw puzzles, and always enjoyed venturing to the casino with friends. She will be greatly missed by her daughters Cynthia Carrier of Ludington, Deborah (Pat) Lowrey, and Roberta Bellanger both of Texas, and Jennifer (Matt) Crook of Illinois, her granddaughter Laura (Richard) Treml of Scottville, Bryan (Dawn) Carrier of Ludington, and 6 additional grandchildren in Texas and Illinois, 8 great-grandchildren, one soon to be great, great-grandchild, her brothers Doug (Ryda) Olsen, and Ron (Jan) Olsen both of Minnesota, her special friend Jack Bell of Ludington, her beloved cat Callie, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no funeral home visitation. Her family will hold private services at a later date.
