Darwin Neal McCray's Obituary
Darwin's Obituary:Darwin N. McCray, aged 71 of Fountain, passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2011 at Memorial Medical Center in Ludington. Darwin was born on March 4, 1940 in Fountain to Dean S. and MaryJane (Puterbaugh) McCray, attended Fountain School before graduating from Free Soil High School. He worked for a short time at American Motors in Wisconsin before returning home to Fountain where he loved caring for his horses. Darwin was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother Don Sterling. He will be remembered by his brothers Ivran McCray of Ludington, and Marvin (Lori) McCray of Wisconsin, and his sister Myrna Tarr of Gaylord, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be held for Darwin at 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 21 at the Stephens Funeral Home in Scottville. Burial will take place at Fountain Cemetery next to his parents. Friends may meet with his family for a time of visitation on Wednesday morning from 10:00 am until time of services at the funeral home. Those who wish, may make memorial contributions to the Lakeshore Animal Friends.
