As a family we hurt so much with this loss and, as a family, healing is next. I will always remember a visit I had with David (and his Mom) at the University of Michigan Hospitals when David was recovering from, I think, a softball injury. Playing a lot of softball myself we did also have that in common but during that visit I realized the special smile he had and could feel such positive energy during the visit. I am thankful for that visit and pray now for strength that it will surround David, Cindy and all of their immediate family. I took this picture years back at, I think, Cindy's Dad's, and my Uncle, birthday gathering.
