Oh, Dave. It is so sad it took so long for me to track you down only to find you are gone. I was surprised to find you spent so much time in the Marines and you kept up with the skydiving we barely started in 1977 at the CEMF grass strip South of Jacksonville, NC. We had a lot of fun times running around in your Mustang Fastback. I always wondered what happened to you after you were transferred away to another unit, but I am extremely happy to see what you did. RIP and Semper Fi old friend.

Scott and I are so glad to have become friends with Dave and Alexa since we relocated to Florida. We had many fun times such as having dinner together, going to sales, playing games, and even watching Dave crawling through my window when I locked myself out of the house! Dave was one genuine kind soul. Worked with Dave for many years and he could always make you laugh with his jokes and off the cuff comments. So grateful I got to see him last summer and hang out for bit. The Bicker will surely be missed. My wife and I would like to send out condolences to all his Family and Friends that loved him so much. Dave was a good man! We always got along well, and as his daughter's step dad I never felt any unfriendliness from or for him. I admired his ability to fix, customize, or build just about anything, and his boundless energy and strength! He was solid as a rock! Stories of skydiving and adventures, and discussions of how things work, were always entertaining, and his hospitality was never withheld.

Dave did a great job of raising Amanda, always, and especially after Esther died. He was a hard working and dependable support, and she has grown into a fine lady.

He will be missed!

Dave was a great prankster at family gatherings always recruiting the kids to play pranks on each other mostly putting things like gravy and m&ms in cans of pop I think it was mostly Amanda's pop lol . He was so much fun.
