Although I only met him once and visited him a second time, I enjoyed the stories he would share of his boating and fishing. And then during the funeral service, I was able to hear other great stories about this fine man! Sooooo funny!!!!
Diane Englebrecht and family. I am pleased to say that I knew both your mom and dad during my younger years. At age 14 I enrolled in a Boy Scouts Explorer program that Bob hosted at the MCSD. I went on to join the department reserve unit. After obtaining certification, I was hired full time with the MCSD. My career choice was made directly because of Bobs willingness to give of himself and host an Explorers unit. I am most sorry for your loss.
Bob hired me as a Jailer/Corrections Deputy in June 1985 . I’m forever grateful for him taking a chance on me and I’m happy in recent years I had the chance to express my gratitude with him and Doris before she passed. They made a great couple. Condolences to the family!
Bob helped my dad in my dad's sugar bush for along time he was the best help we had. Rest in piece Bob. We will miss you.
