Emma was a real gem, and I just smile every time I remember her. She had such a loving heart and a gentle spirit. Thank you, sweet lady, for your wonderful contribution to the local community. You truly touched hearts and lives, mine being one of them.
What a lovely, devoted lady. She enjoyed her family and her faith got her through many things. I was happy to be one of her friends who helped her and Melvin from the Scottville Senior Homemaker Program. I know she is happy and can walk and do the things she couldn't do for along time. May God Help those in her family and friends in this time. Know that she will be by your side and watching you now that she is in Heaven.
God Bless- Diana
The fun times our families had when I was growing up. Wasn't a week went by that we didn't get together once, twice, or even more times!! Will never forget the time we all went camping up to Lost Lake and the raccoon got in the tent and scared us all!! It only wanted something to eat!! The term "gypsy camp" was used quite often that weekend and it didn't matter!! We had a great time and enjoyed the times we were together!! When her brother, Wendell, was ill and in the hospital, we stayed at different relatives houses. Aunt Emma always had time for us--we would pray every day that my dad would be made well. God chose to take him to heaven a lot earlier than most. Guess he needed a good carpenter to build our mansions so they would be ready when we all get there!! Aunt Emma has hers now. She'll be waiting for us all to join her some day!! Love you forever!! Rhonda
My dear sweet wonderful friend I love you. Simply by living "a life of purpose" you have changed so many others. No one more than mine. I was 19 and lived next door in 1961 in Davisburg. Your Christian testimony and love for the Lord was directly responsible for bringing me to the foot of the cross. Thank you a million times over and I'll see you soon, my friend. Your home going is truly a celebration of a life well lived. Peace be with your wonderful family.
