I knew Doug from my bartending days at the great Steve's Bar! There are so many times in my life I wish I could just have one more of those days back!!!
My thoughts are with you Cookie and all the family! I love you so very much!! Always!
Back in 76 I moved from Detroit. Doug and I became very close friends. Because of Doug and a lot of other very close friends I was able to stay in Ludington. So many memories to many to count. Life gets in the way and we went our separate ways. I always new we were friends and just a phone call away if either one needed anything. Rest In Peace my friend.
Doug was a very kind caring person and will be missed by many R.I.P. ,prayers for his family. Mike and Carol
A great and kind man who will be missed Sending thoughts and prayer to Cookie and the family
I went to school with Doug and worked with him at Hardman. He was a good friend and will be sadly missed.
Doug (pa) you were an amazing man. To put up with that whole bunch of yahoo's made you such a hero in my books. You will be missed by so many and revered by all who knew you. You have left behind a wonderful legacy. Was such a blessing to have known you. You will be missed.
I remember Doug from high school. He was always a quiet, thoughtful, and kind person with a ready laugh and smile. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

My favorite memory was when Doug helped Darlene and I get a demo derby car ready to race. We didn't do very well but we had a lot of fun doing it.
