Mr. Ed, I will miss your silly grin, your off the cuff comments, your memories of times gone by that you shared with me and ability to always make me smile. I will forever treasure my days with you Mr. Ed. I never knew that when I came to care for you, that you would be caring for me too. God always has a plan doesn't He. Even towards the end Mr. Ed, we were together and as sad as it was to see you slipping away, I knew you were going home. And I was at peace with that as I know you were too. Mr. Ed was such a sweet and special man. When I first started caring for him, he said " This old soldier should have died along time ago", and I replied, 'I am so glad you didn't". And I often would refer to him fondly as "my little soldier". It sure didn't take long for me to just love him as if he was my own. I love the family too. Thank you Mr. Ed for your precious days and memories that you shared with me. I love you and will see you in heaven. Love always Lisa Hodgeson a.k.a. Rose.
