Was very sorry to see the passing of your parents. I only met them once, but after doing so it was no mystery as to how they raised such a terrific son in you. I have no doubt they were awfully proud of their son they had in you, and without question, they were a special couple that blessed the lives of many. Dean was a remarkable person in many ways, but to me he was one of my most admired mentors. I knew him through work at MSU Extension before I was “recruited” by him to try to replace him as County Extension Director. He was always helpful but never intrusive in watching me follow a role he most surely loved serving educational needs of Mason County residents. He continued that in his roles at WSCC and on the county commission. My condolences to all the family members. Bill Robb
