Like his biblical namesake, Enoch P. Olson was known as a man who walked with God. On Friday, July 10, 2026, he completed that lifelong walk by entering the actual presence of his Savior. He died peacefully at his home in Ludingto Read Obituary

I was a great friend of Christine, he was a very tall man and was always delightful, we had so much fun in the early days of the camp, to this day some of my best memories, God bless his beautiful family
I am so grateful to have been mentored by Enoch and Joan; their teaching and example truly changed the trajectory of my life. What a gift to have lived at camp year around and be taught by them for six years!
Somehow Enoch saw my heart— a heart that yearned to know and follow the Lord; he saw beyond my messy self, and saw the person the Lord called me to be—and taught me how to become that person. And that has made all the difference.
He not only taught me ( and others) the words of John 15:4-6, he lived them.
I can still remember him teaching the difference between self effort and abiding in Christ; and Enoch didn’t just teach the words of John 15:5, he showed me how to do it; it’s how he lived. I still remember the first time I heard the words:
“ I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.”
And that is his legacy: nurturing fruitful lives so that they too could nurture fruitful lives. I am so grateful to have been taught by him.
My(Daniel) and wife (Marylin)Bostrom joined Enoch in 1970, 2nd summer. We worked there for 6 summers including 3 years full-time. Enoch was one of the most impactful, godly men in my life.
To this day, I utilize much of the Biblical teachings from Enoch.
How many of you were baptized by Enoch? My first summer working when I was 15 Gloria Henry Sanch and I were both baptized in the swimming lake. It was a truly life giving experience for me and a great way to end that summer. Enoch didn't remember when I would ask him but I'm glad he did that for me and others.
Heaven is now even better with Enoch there. What a great mentor, leader, prankster and more. I am sad for his absence here on earth. It was wonderful to have lunch with him and Joan in January at their casita next to Loren's house.
He had so much strength, courage, diligence, love of Christ and love of man. He touched many lives blessing all in faith and enjoyment of life. Our family, the Martin family and our successive families were changed because of the Olson's and Spring Hill and In Pursuit Camps.
Our deepest sympathy to Joan, Lisa, Loren, JP and the grandkids.

Spending eight full summers at Spring Hill was a gift, and learning how God uses our willingness to serve Him through Enoch’s example was a privilege!
So many memories of camp days; I especially loved Sunday Services with staff (Joan on piano, worshiping as a body, Enoch teaching in his wise, passionate way). Growing up with Loren and JP, looking up to Mark and Chris…blessed beyond!
So many have a connection to Enoch and his family, and so many will be with Jesus forever because of his “YES, Lord!”
Thank you, Enoch! All our love, Joan, Loren, Michelle, JP, and entire family! Thank You, Lord! Your servant is home! 🙏♥️

During the last few years Enoch was part of a Bible Study Fellowship group. He was a tremendous influence and was loved by the men in the group.
