Eric Robert Dombrouski's Obituary
OBITUARY:Eric Robert Dombrouski, aged 32 of Free Soil, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 14, 2011. Eric was born on August 26, 1978 in Manistee to Tina Dombrouski and Michael Sniegowski, and graduated from Free Soil High School with the class of 1996. Eric loved the outdoors, with hunting and fishing as his passions. He was a master chainsaw wood carver, winning several competitions throughout Michigan. He served his community as a volunteer firefighter with the Free Soil – Meade Fire Department. Eric was preceded in death by his father Michael Sniegowski, and his grandmother Hazel Sniegowski. He will be greatly missed by his longtime girlfriend Bridget May and their son Adeyn, his mother Tina Dombrouski Miller of Free Soil, his sister Jessica (Spc. Matthew) Lawson of Fort Sill, OK, his maternal grandparents Dolores Dombrouski of Onaway and Robert Dombrouski of Fountain, his paternal grandfather Roger Sniegowski of Custer, his aunts Cynthia (Ron) Sischo of Indian River, Jackie Johnson of Fountain, Bonnie (Ronnie) Rathbun and Linda (Boyd) Stark all of Scottville, his uncle Alan (Judy) Sniegowski of Torrence, CA, his nieces and nephews, and numerous cousins. Funeral services will be held for Eric at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, July 19 at the Stephens Funeral Home in Scottville, with Rev. Dennis O’Donnell officiating. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Custer. Friends may meet with his family for a time of visitation on Tuesday from 11:00 am until time of services at the funeral home. Those who wish to make memorial contributions are asked to consider the Free Soil – Meade Fire Department in memory of Eric.
