I was so very sorry to read of Gene's passing. He and his family lived next door to me when I was growing up in St. Joseph. His love for the outdoors, fishing and hunting were truly an inspiration to me as a young boy. I still have a mule deer rack that Gene gave me. I grew up to be an avid hunter and bass fisherman and have Gene to thank for that. My condolences to the family. Praying for your comfort.
