Florice May Lynn's Obituary
Florice May Lynn age 82 of Ludington passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Corewell Health Ludington Hospital with her daughters by her side. Florice was born on May 20, 1943 in Eden Township, the daughter of Maynard and Beulah (Riffle) Marrison and graduted from Mason County Central High School with the class of 1961. On March 9, 1974 she was wed to John Edward Lynn at the Scottville United Methodist Church and they celebrated 47 years together before John preceded her in death in 2021.
Florice and John farmed together in Eden Township for many years while Florice also worked at Stokely Cannery in Scottville, and Fruit Packers and Chase Farms. Her most cherished role was being a wife to John and and a mother to her daughters.
Florice will be greatly missed by her daughters Julie Ann and Jill Marie Lynn both of Ludington; her sister Karen (Pat) Dillehay; and brother-in-law William (Yolanda) Lynn all of Ludington; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Along with her husband John, Florice was also preceded in death by her parents Maynard and Beulah; her brothers Kenneth and Edwin Marrison; and John’s parents Evert and Margaret Lynn.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Florice’s life will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 23 at the Hart Christian Fellowship in Hart. Burial will take place at Lakeside Cemetery in Eden Township following the services.
