Hunter Allison Parmalee's Obituary
OBITUARY:Hunter Allison Parmalee, aged 16 of Custer, died suddenly on Sunday, December 11, 2011 from accidental injuries. Hunter was born on December 10, 1995 in Muskegon to Craig Parmalee and Tanya Rader, and was currently a student at Journey High School in Scottville. Hunter possessed a very outgoing, adventurous spirit and could often be found hunting, fishing, riding Quads, attending Mud Runs, or working on cars. It was hard to remove a wrench from his hand. What you would rarely find was him standing still. He loved to be around his family and friends, and will be greatly missed by many. Hunter leaves behind his parents Craig Parmalee and his friend Jenny Adkins of Rothbury, and Tanya Rader and her friend Dennis Gum of Custer, his younger brothers Aaron and Austin both of Custer, his maternal grandparents Dorothy and Robert Battice of Custer, and Donna Rader of Branch,his paternal grandparents Dar and Jody Parmalee of Florida, and George and Jeanine Cover of Shelby, his great-grandmother Vivian Parmalee of Lansing, Dennis’ children Joseph, Alysa, Kayla, and Rebecca Gum, and Ruthie Johnson all of Scottville, Dennis’ parents Theodore and Linda Kissell of Ludington, his aunts and uncles Pebbles and Arnold Malstron of Custer, Corey Parmalee of Shelby, Lance and Christy Parmalee of Florida, and Ken and Tammy Myers of Branch, and numerous cousins and friends. Hunter was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather David Rader. Funeral services will be held for Hunter at 1:00 pm on Thursday, December 15 at the Mason County Reformed Church, 45 S. Amber Rd., Scottville. Friends may meet with his family for a time of remembering on Wednesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the Stephens Funeral Home in Scottville, and on Thursday from Noon until time of services at the church.
