Jim Fitch was a nice man...that's how Linda Jankowski remembers him.
Soft spoken Farm Bureau Insurance Agent, who helped sponsor broadcasts of local high school sports on WKLA-FM; and insurance representative for Terry Williams, until his retirement from Farm Bureau Insurance.
Observed in at least two parades, by Terry, Jim Fitch really enjoyed marching, and playing his trumpet, as a member of the Scottville Clown Band.
To his wife, Carol, and the rest of Jim's family; Linda and I extend sincere sympathy. Rest in Peace, Jim.

Jim will be missed both in Scottville and all of Mason County. His musical talent was a delight to many of us as he played in the Clown Band. We sure enjoyed playing cards over the years with Jim and Carol and our thoughts and prayers are with you. I am at our home in Scottville, and Dick is in assisted living in Ludington. With sympathy, Marie and Dick Weaver (I’ve written a card but am not sure what address to send it to:).
