Joan Madeline Miller's Obituary
Joan M. Miller, aged 73 of Pentwater, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, December 30, 2009. Joan was born Sunday, March 1, 1936 in Detroit, to Richard and Madeline (Cramer) Lefebvre. She married Kenneth Miller on January 16, 1954 in Detroit and they have celebrated 55 years together. Joan and Kenneth lived in the Detroit area raising their family until moving to Pentwater in 1981. She enjoyed bowling with her husband at the Eagles in Hart, crocheting, and above all, caring for her wonderful family. Joan was preceded in death by her parents, her son Douglas in February, 2008, her daughter Patricia Miller, her granddaughter Molly Miller, her brother-in-law Robert Miller, and her sister-in-law Vera Peterson. Joan will be greatly missed by her husband Kenneth; her children Kathleen (William) Mustard of Custer, Margery Cheladyn of Scottville, Richard (Diane) Miller of New Berlin, WI, Thomas (Christine) Miller of Woodhaven, MI, and Jacquelyn (Sid) Swift of Taylor; her daughter-in-law Donna Miller of Pentwater; her beloved grandchildren Kenrick (Erin) Mustard, Kaziah and Garrick Mustard, Keri (Brad) Krakow, Edward (Amanda) Cheladyn, Kenneth and Kristin Miller, Breanna and Jonathan Miller, Tim, Kate, and Amanda O’Dell, Rebecca Swift, Reese, Jill, and Glenn Miller; her precious great-grandson Aiden Krakow; her brother James Lefebvre of Dearborn; her sister Diane Carpenter of Allen Park; her sisters-in-law Mabel Tallquist of Custer, Joyce (Jim) Belke of Jenison; her brother-in-law James Miller of Scottville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
