John Lee Gregones' Obituary
John Lee Gregones, 66, from Ludington, passed away Feb. 10, 2019, at Munson Medical Central Traverse City due to complications from pneumonia.
He was born on December 29, 1952 in Ludington, the son of Anthony and Mary Lou Gregones.
John is survived by his son Brian (Laura) Gregones of Woodstock, Ga.; grandsons, Anthony and Luke of Woodstock, Ga.; sister, Lou Ann (Russell) Anible of Ludington; and nephew, Craig (Jennifer) Anible of Grand Rapids.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Larry and Michael.
John loved keeping in touch and spending time with his grandsons. He also enjoyed fishing and spent many hours in his ice shanty on Hamlin Lake. He was an avid reader and found great joy in gardening. He was a loyal follower of the Detroit Tigers and Lions sports teams.
His cats also held a special place in his heart. He will be missed greatly by those close to him.
