OBITUARY:Josephine Mickevich, aged 90 of Fountain, died Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Gran Care in Custer. Josephine was born September 14, 1921 in Sherman Township to the late William and Hilda (Swanson) Genson. She married Joseph Mickevich on August 22, 1940 in Traverse City, and he preceded her in death on January 10, 2008.Josephine is survived by her sons, Joseph (Carol) Mickevich and James (Beverly) Mickevich, both of Fountain; her daughter, Jane (Chris) Mehuron of Florida; 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and her sister Eunice Mickevich of Scottville. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her sister Maxine Thompson.Private family services will be held for Josephine. Burial will take place atFountain Cemetery.Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Michigan.
