Juanita Ruth Wierzbowski's Obituary
OBITUARY:Juanita Ruth Wierzbowski, aged 63 of Ludington, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, April 25, 2010 at Memorial Medical Center in Ludington. Juanita was born on December 17, 1946 to John L. and Christine Louise (Bell) Lock. On 1975, she married Selem Lake in Ludington, and he preceded her in death in 1996. She later married August Wierzbowski on October 13, 2005 also in Ludington, and he survives her. Juanita and Sam operated the bait shop near twin bridges, delivered the Detroit News throughout Mason County, and provided transportation for the Amish community for several years. She liked to spend time cooking, reading, and taking rides with August thru the countryside observing various birds and enjoying the beautiful wild flowers in the fields. Her greatest adventure was bargain hunting at Goodwill. She was also a longtime attendee of Calvary Baptist Church in Ludington. Juanita will be lovingly remembered by her husband August; her children Cindy (Steve) Gall, and Tammie (Bob) Wade all of Kentucky, Pete Viviano of California, and Sam (Jen) Lake of New York; her stepchildren Laurie (Mike) Nelson, and Selem Lake all of Stanwood, and Lynda (David) Schippers of Ludington; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; her brother Bill (Bonnie) Lock of Missouri; her sister-in-law Marilyn Reindersma of Grand Rapids; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be held for Juanita at 1:00 PM on Thursday, April 29 at the Calvary Baptist Church in Ludington, with her pastor, the Rev. Timothy Yankee officiating. Burial will take place at Center Riverton Cemetery. Friends may meet with her family for a time of visitation on Wednesday evening from 6-8 PM at the Stephens Funeral Home in Scottville, and on Thursday from Noon until time of services at the church.
