Katheryn Marie Shepard-Immen's Obituary
KATHERYN'S OBITUARY:Katheryn M. Shepard-Immen, aged 59 of Fountain, formerly of Mt. Clemens went home to be with her Lord on Monday, October 21, 2013. Katheryn was born on March 3, 1954 in Detroit, the daughter of Roland and Donna (Murray) Wallace. A very outgoing person, Katheryn loved her music, loved to dance, and loved spending time in her yard and garden. She was an avid sports fan, faithfully following the Lions, Red Wings, and Tigers, and enjoyed cooking and having her friends over for dinner. Her greatest joy came in the presence of her family, especially her grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She liked to play games on Facebook and was always up for a challenge. In her quiet time, she could usually be found watching a good movie, or keeping up on current events and political views.Katheryn will be lovingly remembered by her husband Donald J. Immen of Fountain, her son Matthew Shepard of Mt. Clemens, her daughter Shannon Shepard-Brass of Fraser, her grandchildren Tyler, Jacob, and Zachary Brass of Fraser, her sisters Ginger (Michael) Kyriazis of Springhill, Florida, and Patricia (David) Thoel of Harrison Township, and many loving nieces and nephews. Katheryn was preceded in death by her father Roland Wallace Sr., her mother Donna Brackenbury, her brother Roland “Butch” Wallace Jr., and her sister Gail Wallace. She will be greatly missed by her many friends and family.Funeral services will be held for Katheryn at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 26 at the Will & Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot Avenue, Mt. Clemens, MI 48043. Friends may meet with her family for a time of visitation on Friday from 1:00 – 9:00 PM at the funeral home. Those who wish, are asked to make memorial contributions to a charity of their choice in memory of Katheryn. Wyman Funeral & Cremation Services – Stephens Funeral Home in Scottville is assisting her family with arrangements.
