Lu's Family: each and everyone of you are wrapped in our warmest thoughts today as you celebrate Lu's life. A fitting day to do so. Distance and weather keep daughter Kelly and me from joining you and all who loved her, but we are there in spirit. So so many good memories of Lu that have not diminished over these many years. She was one of the most kind-hearted, gentle, and loving individuals I've ever known. I am most grateful she touched my life as I know she touched so many others. Many hugs to each of you.

I was blessed to have Lu in my life for many many years. I was truly blessed to be able to cut her hair for the past five years or so. When Lu used to come into my salon to get her hair cut, she used to bring me peanut butter cookies and or fudge! We both LOVED our cats! She used to ask me about my cats all the time! The love that Lu had for other people and animals was just absolutely amazing. She had a heart of gold. I will miss her so much. Her kind words. She loved how I get her hair. She used to say I was magic. I loved Lu so much... Rest In Peace Lu! Your suffering here in earth is over! The good Lord has called you home!

So sorry to hear that “Aunt Lulu” passed away. She was my grandma’s (Marian Beattie) best friend for so many years. I have so many great memories of Aunt Lu. I know that those amazing sweet ladies are happy to be together again. They had so much fun together and it makes me smile to think of them stirring up trouble together! Dick and Family--Few have been as fortunate as I to have known Lu both as the epitome of the total professional in her efforts at The Upjohn Company, and later in our retirement years as a treasured friend. .When I was privileged to have Lu on my marketing staff, I knew her enthusiasm, her spunk, her total reliability would get the task at hand done right and on time whatever the obstacles. In our later years these same delightful qualities prevailed but I also came to appreciate what a special friend and perfect hostess Lu was as well. I know in my remaining years I will fondly and often remember Lu in both these roles. She was and always will be very special to me.
