I am shocked and saddened beyond belief, that I just learned of Lisa’s death yesterday. She helped to care for several of my pets through the end of their lives. Over the years, she became a friend. We shared confidences and life experiences, extending appointment times as much as we could. She impacted my life with trust and honesty and empathy. I thank her for making my little world a better place, and will miss her tremendously.

Just today I learned of Lisa's passing. She provided veterinary services to my pets for all of the years she practiced in Broomfield. I hadn't seen her in a while but we kept in touch by phone with updates on a condition of one of my pets. Lisa was more than a vet to me; she was a friend. We would talk about things not related to animal care and she even went to lunch with me one day to discuss the pros and cons of certain types of dogs. Life can be so unfair--Lisa you should have had many more years of life in front of you. I am sorry that I will no longer be able to share in your warmth and joy in life and your love of animals. My condolences to your family.

Although I never got to know Lisa, I did have the wonderful privilege of getting to know and work with you, Art, all those years at CMU. Both Roger and I treasured knowing you and through you, some about your family. I/We knew how proud you were of Lisa. I'm still in the process of coming to terms with Roger's death, so my heart and thoughts for each of you as you mourn this very special loss of Lisa. What a beautiful woman she was in so many ways. Wishing you peace, comfort and many wonderful memories to carry Lisa with you the rest of your lives.

I can't put into words the depth and sharpness of my feelings upon hearing of your passing, Lisa. My first thoughts were of the utter unfairness of it, if anybody deserved a long, fulfilling, gratifying life, it was you. You knew so early what you wanted from life and worked so much and so hard to make it all come true.
I have never forgotten the time we shared, or how wonderful you were, and will never, ever forget you Lisa, Rest in peace.
