Lois became part of my "family" when JonL and I married way back when. What a dear friend who was always ready to help and support those in need. Prayers were all we could offer her toward the end, but were what she wanted and needed. Hope you enjoyed your new view and house. Thank you for all the tailgates, the place to stay when we needed it and most of all the friendship you gave so freely.
My fondest memories of Lowie are the delightful tailgate parties she and Bill hosted in the Kelly-Shorts Stadium parking lot before the C.M.U. home football games. Our trip from Ludington was two hours long, but her friendly welcome and delicious food made the long miles well worth it. Sometimes, the preparty was better than the actual game! She was maroon and gold through and through---especially the GOLD part.

Lois was a friend from Mason County Central High School. We both played clarinet in the band. I had known Lois since we were children though because our Dad's were great friends and both shared a love for racing. Prayers for her family, may their memories give them joy.
