Lois was always so sweet and kind. She was our bus driver for several years and very patient with all of her passengers. If she was having a bad day we never knew it. I remember one year we had two fluffy yellow kittens that always followed us to the bus and we would have to run them back to the barn. Lois ended up wanting them (maybe to end the daily delay!😊). However, we were sure she would take good care of them.
Our deepest sympathy to Lois’s family. She was the perfect example of a Christian by the way she lived her life each day. We will miss seeing Lois and her smile. George Allison, Jayne (Allison) Knudsen
The world feels a little less safe and warm without Lois in it. I know that the 3 words Lois should have most often heard were: "Thank you, Lois." Lois was always there for all of us. She quite often told me that she remembered my first day of school and how proud and protective my older brothers were of me. When my three youngest sons started school at MCE, Lois picked them up and brought them home safely and securely every single school day, until they drove themselves to school. I never had to worry about them at school, because I knew Lois was looking out for them. When I went back to work and was sometimes a little later than the bus getting home, that big old yellow bus would be sitting in front of my house, kids still on board, waiting patiently. When our dog, Brownie, hopped on the bus with the boys every morning, Lois would patiently send him back out, telling him he could not go to school.
I could go on and on with stories of my kids and Lois. I really just want all of her family to know how much we love Lois.
