Lucille A. “Lu” Andrulis, aged 58 of Grand Rapids, formerly of Fountain and Cadillac, passed away on Monday, January 25, 2010 at her home. Lu was born on May 23, 1951 in Muskegon to Stanley and Veronica (Kotlewski) Dufon, and graduated from Free Soil High School with the class of 1969. She furthered her education at Muskegon Community College, earning her Associates Degree. On May 28, 1977, she married Allen L. Andrulis in Fountain, and they celebrated 25 years together before he preceded her in death on July 4, 2002. Together Lu and Allen owned and operated the Michigan Cheese Farm Diary, Inc, in Fountain, and Tuesday’s Place Restaurant in Scottville. Lu was well known for her gourmet cooking, especially Oysters Rockefeller. Lu and Allen enjoyed traveling all over the world and yachting on Lake Michigan. She loved to listen to music, dance, and entertain. As a very giving person with a great sense of humor, her home was always open and welcoming.
