Joyce Gipson
John and family, I just came upon this notice online. I am sad to see this. While living across the street in Oak Park, your mom was a friend always. She came to my rescue once when I hurt my head and needed sutures. Heather ran over to get her. She cared for Heather while I was in the ER. She also invited us to Midnight Mass at Grace more than once and she made a great crown roast and Yorkshire pudding, inviting us over to enjoy with the two of you. My heart goes out to you and your wife and your children. Remember the good times is what Heather’s dad said to me when he passed away in 2009. And I do. Love Joyce Gipson
