NANCY'S OBITUARY:Nancy Elaine Guthrie, aged 76 of Walhalla, passed away on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family. Nancy was born on August 8, 1936 in Montcalm County to Glen and Mary (Switzer) Smith, and married Robert Guthrie on August 20, 1976 at the home of her brother in Six Lakes, MI. They have celebrated 36 years together with their families. Nancy was a retiree of Gibson Manufacturing, loved to bowl with her friends and family in several leagues, and looked forward to spending winters at their home in Florida. She will be greatly missed by her husband Robert, 7 children, 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, her brother & sister, and many nieces, nephews, and close friends.A Memorial Service will be held for Nancy at 10:30 AM on Saturday, September 15 at the Shiloh Community Church, 8197 Heth St., Orleans, MI. Following the service her remains will be placed at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Lansing. Those who wish to make a memorial contribution in memory of Nancy are asked to consider the American Cancer Society.
