Marie and Mel
One of the finest people whom I've known in my lifetime.. He will be sorely missed especially at the Friday morning breakfast club and our annual steak fry here one the lake.

Marie, Melanie and family.
I will always remember the support I received from Dick and your family during my high school cross country and track days. Those memories will be with me for a life time and I always felt welcome in your home. I keep you and your family in my prayers and ask for God's blessings to be each of you, especially during this difficult time. Thank you so much for the many years of friendship and the conversations we have had over the years. God bless,

Marie, Melanie and Family,
Very sorry to learn of your loss which is also a loss to everyone who knew Dick. It was my privilege to work alongside him to benefit the students of Mason County and the State of Michigan and become his personal friend.
For many years he chaired a major statewide committee for the Michigan Association of School Administrators, working to improve the professionalism of superintendents and making a significant contribution beyond the borders of Mason County.
I enjoyed his sense of humor and also emulated his habit of constantly writing notes for follow-up on a 3x5 card in his shirt pocket. I benefited from and appreciated the professional and personal time we spent together. Nothing better to say of a man but that he made a difference; Dick did.
Margaret joins me in sending condolences.

Such a lovely tribute to a wonderful man. I met Dick through his wife, Marie, a friend of my mother's, Margarette Reader. Marie, I am so sorry and you and your family are in my thoughts.

Although I did not know Mr. Weaver personally, I do remember him as our Superintendent of Schools at MCC during my elementary school years. His love and dedication to our school district had shown throughout his years working and in retirement. God bless, Mr. Weaver and our best goes out to his family.
