Rose Marie Zynda's Obituary
Rose Marie Zynda, 77, passed away on April 21, 2014 at the La Jolla Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in La Jolla, Ca. Rose was born on Sept. 13, 1936 in Fountain, to John Zynda and Helen Maza. She grew up surrounded by family and was a blessing to her parents and siblings. For the past twenty years she has been lovingly cared for by her brother Lawrence Zynda in his home in La Jolla, where she loved to take walks on the warm California beach. She loved bowling and playing cards. Rose Marie was a special blessing for Lawrence and she taught everyone that it was better to give than to receive. Rose always included those who needed help in her daily prayers and lived and died in the grace of God.She was the youngest of ten children and was preceded in death by siblings Norma Cutter, Norbert Zynda, Edmund Zynda, Dolores Mouthaan, Ralph Zynda and Helen Augustine. Rose is survived by her siblings Evelyn Jorgenson, Lorraine Abramowski and Lawrence Zynda, 42 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews. We will remember her happy smiles, and how she loved to laugh and hug everyone.Funeral services for Rose will be held Wednesday April 30 at 2 PM at Stephens Funeral Home in Scottville with Rev. Dennis O’ Donnell officiating. The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home from 1 PM until the time of the service. Burial will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Custer. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to the charity of your choice in Rose’s name.
