He leaves great memories for all those he taught in the classroom and coached on the soccer field. Condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew him.
My deepest sympathies to Roy’s family. He and his wife were the kindest people who were so faithful to Christ. May he enjoy the fruits of a well lived faithful life. Gods blessings Roy.
I met Roy and Esther in St Petersburg Russia on a mission trip. They were so kind and loving toward the children. We had the pleasure of visiting in their home in Gowanda. Roy, you will be missed by so many you have touched for the Lord.
We first met Roy and Ester in our early days teaching at Gowanda in the late 80’s through m wife’s connection with AFS. I later got to know him pretty well during his subbing time at GCS. I loved to hear his stories during a lunch breaks, and always enjoyed working along side him.
Mr Hendrix you helped creat so many great memories. He will be remembered as a Kind and devoted teacher. I have so many memories on the trips to DC.
Ah.. Mr. Hendrix. Always a bustling bundle of energy and positivity. He was one of my mom’s best friends. He knew no bad moments and spoke no negative words. He was always kind and funny and engaged with everyone around him.
