So sad to hear of the passing of my big sister Ruth. She was never a "sister in law", but my sister. I have many fond memories, especially the time when I was in high school and I had injured my foot. While soaking my foot in some hot water, we were watching the movie about the Titanic. Ruth had made some brownies and they were (as always) yummy. I couldn't get up to get one, so Ruth or Gene threw one to me. I missed the catch and the brownie was now in the water with my foot. Oddly, when the Titanic sank, so did the brownie. I laughed. My deepest condolences to Gene and his family, also to Ruth's brother and sisters. You are sadly missed.
