Steven Harry Sams' Obituary
Steven Harry Sams age 66 of Branch passed away November 28, 2019. Steve was born April 6, 1953 in Battle Creek, Michigan, the son of Howard L. and Edith Mae (White) Sams.
Steve was an outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, kayaking and was a rock and gem hound. He had a special bond with his furry companion Foot, whom he took everywhere he went.
Steve worked in construction most of his life and was a member of the Laborers Union 355. He lived in Washington for years and moved back to Michigan in 1988 to be closer to family.
Besides his parents, Steve was preceded in death by his brothers John and Joe. Steve will be greatly missed by his brother Michael Sams of Hastings and sister Brenda Douglas of Branch, along with several nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
An outdoor celebration of life will be held for Steve in the spring.
