Walter B. Marks' Obituary
Walter Byron Marks age 78, of Ludington, died Friday, May 27, 2016 at Spectrum Health-Ludington.
Walter was born on March 5, 1938 in Detroit, MI to the late Edward Ralph and Esther Lillian (Hutchinson) Marks. He married Beatrice “Bea” J. (Mecklenberg) Marks on July 11, 1958 in Detroit, MI she preceded him in death on June 26, 2005.
Walter is survived by: 1 Son: Wally (Gwen) Marks of Ludington, 2 Daughters: Marlynn (Ted) Gulembo of Fountain and Susan (Anthony) Evans of Florida. 6 Grandchildren: Holly, Corliss, Walter III, Mason, Easton, McKinley Jean. 5 Great Grandchildren: Ava, Reaghan, Noelle, Isabella, Cole. 1 Brother: Ralph (Sally) Marks of East Point, MI. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Beatrice, 1 Brother: Raymond and 3 Sisters: Maude Lavender, Ethel Locke and Janet Sun.
A Funeral Service will be conducted on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at 12:00pm at the Wyman Funeral & Cremation Services Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Rader officiating. Burial will follow at Bachelor Cemetery where the VFW Post #3442 will have Military Honors.
The family will be at the Wyman Funeral Home from 10:00am until the time of service to greet friends.
