One of my oldest and dearest friends. I still remember how nervous I was on the first day of junior high but Wendy totally put me at ease by riding her bike to my house so that we could ride to school together.
I'll never forget her beautiful smile and joyful way. She was a bright light that was extinguished way too soon.
Holton Family - I am very sorry for your loss. I will always remember Wendy as an incredible swimmer, courageous teammate, and friend at UNCC.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I went to junior high and high school with Wendy. We went to a dance together in junior high. I'm sad to hear of her passing. I hadn't seen her for many years, but remember her beautiful smile and personality.
