William "Bill" Charles Knutson's Obituary
William “Bill” Knutson age 59 of Fountain passed away on Monday, March 24, 2025 at his home. Bill was born on September 21, 1965 in Grand Rapids, the son of Donald G. and Shirley J. (Thurkettle) Knutson and attended Ottawa Hills High School in Grand Rapids.
Bill loved the Mason County area where he could enjoy his love of fishing, hunting, and being outdoors in the fresh air. He was also a huge NASCAR fan.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents Donald and Shirley Knutson, his brother Kurt Knutson, and his sister-in-law Janie Knutson.
Bill will be greatly missed by his wife of many years Marcia; his daughter Crystal (Michael) DeVos of Coral, MI; his son Daniel (Danielle) Knutson of Wayland; his stepchildren Chris Klein and Mike Klein both of Ludington; his grandchildren Michael, Zeke, Jordyn, Leigha, Abbie, Liam, and Maya; his brothers Donald (Judy) Knutson Jr. of Grand Rapids, and Craig Knutson of Cadillac; and his sister-in-law Robin Knutson of Fountain.
A gathering to celebrate Bill’s life will be held later this summer with burial to take place next to his parents and brother at Bachelor Cemetery.
