We had never met people as kind and generous as Jim & Wilma Allen. They opened their home and their hearts to us from the very beginning. When Russ lost his mother we adopted Wilma as our "Ma" and she lovingly took that spot. She will be missed horribly as was Jim. I know that we are better people from just having known the Allen family.
We use to go shopping together and play Bingo and cards with my sisters Jackie and Liz, Wanda Bev, Lois and we also went to Mount Pleasant to play Bingo and gamble a little. Ron and I will miss you very much.
BINGO! Wilma and her gang (Bonnie, Nancy and Peg) sure did take that game seriously. It was like Survivor for their generation. Take their spots, their carpet squares, or their favorite cards and you’d have all of them to deal with! I know she’s in a BINGO hall in heaven now and my Granny has a seat saved and warmed up right next her. 😢
