WILSON'S OBITUARY:Wilson Wayne “Bud” Hobbs, age 86 of Silver City, MI, formerly of Scottville, passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at St. Joseph Hospital, Marshfield, Wisconsin.Bud was a retiree from Michigan Consolidated Gas Co. after many years of service, and moved to the Upper Peninsula, where he has lived since 1987. Bud was preceded in death by his first wife Gertrude (Ripley) and second wife Myra (Holmes), and his two sons, Ronald of Texas and Terrance of Scottville. He will be greatly missed by his two daughters, Janet (Dan) Nichols of Montague, and Karen (Jim) Kelley of Silver City, his sister Flossie Gillian of Grand Rapids, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial service will be held at for Bud on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at the Stephens Funeral Home in Scottville, with burial to follow at Brookside Cemetery.
