Patrick L. Hoxie's Obituary
Patrick Leslie Hoxie aged 77 of Manistee passed away peacefully at home on Monday evening, November 15, 2021 surrounded by his family. Patrick was born on December 1, 1943 in Minneapolis, MN, the son of Ranald S. and Emily M. (Wilson) Hoxie, graduated from Manistee High School with the class of 1961, and served his country with the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict.
Patrick owned and operated Oakhill Body Shop and Coachcraft of Onekama until 1996. He was preceded in death by his parents Ranald & Emily; his grandmother Fern; and his daughter Shawn Rick.
He will be greatly missed by his wife of 51 years Reva (Edmondson); his daughter Lisa Torres; his sons Mike Ross, and Dean (Mary) Hoxie; his daughter-in-law Sue Rick; his grandchildren Eric (Megan) Rick, Joshua Torres, Jessica (Ronald) Halstead; and numerous other family members and many great friends.
A Memorial Service will be held for Patrick at 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 27 at River of Life Ministries, 1710 Merkey Rd., Manistee. Friends may visit with Patrick’s family starting at 1:00 until time of services all at the church. Those who wish to remember Patrick with a memorial donation are asked to please consider Stomp Out Cancer, Hospice of Michigan, or River of Life Ministries.
